I am interested in the reflective qualities of glass. It is a material that reflects space and the self, framing the inevitable relationship between the body and its surroundings. This work ruminates on processes of reflection and introspection. Through tunnelling our focus, we erase the peripheral and centre our attention. My glass works encourage the audience to pause and focus their vision, entering a space of spiritual depth which is implied through tone and reflection of the material.
